FAQ
Questions and answers.
How can I start paragliding?
Follow our current beginner training announcements or complete the pre-application form to request information.
When are training courses organised?
The schedule depends on the season, weather and available places. Confirmed dates are announced on our Instagram account.
Can flights take place every day?
No. Weather and site conditions, equipment and pilot competence are assessed before every flight. The responsible instructor decides for training flights; the pilot decides for individual flights.
What do P2, P3, P4, P5, T1 and T2 mean?
They are pilot levels used in the THSF system. P2 is student pilot, P3 intermediate, P4 pilot and P5 experienced pilot. T1 and T2 are tandem levels. The current THSF training guide is the authoritative source for requirements.
Which documents may be required for training?
Identity, criminal record, blood group and education documents, photographs, a medical report, flight accident insurance and an undertaking may be required. The definitive list is published with each course announcement.
